Take the first exit off the Western Freeway, drive into Ballarat's CBD along Victoria Street and around the Bridge Street Mall and onto the main thoroughfare Sturt Street. Continue up the hill and take the fourth right turn (Doveton Street South) just passed Myer. Doveton Street is also the Midland Highway (A300) and is also the way to Hamilton and Geelong. Follow Doveton Street (which becomes Skipton Street and then Albert Street) to Sebastopol and the motel which is all just over 5 kilometres from the CBD. The motel is on the right, just after the Sebastopol Shops, Bowling Club and Coles Supermarket and around 250 metres on from the third roundabout.

Take either the Old Western Highway exit, along the Avenue of Honour and into the CBD, and then turn right at Doveton Street (A300) in the CBD. A quicker alternative is to stay on the freeway and take the Midland Highway (A300 exit and head south into Ballarat, across Sturt Street and onto Doveton Street). Doveton Street becomes Skipton Street and then Albert Street and we are number 244 (just five kilometres from Sturt Street).

If coming along the Glenelg Highway from the west from Hamilton or Skipton turn right at the roundabout (where the McDonald's is) on Albert Street (head toward Geelong) and we are 300 metres passed the next roundabout on the right.

The Ballarat Train Station, with links to Melbourne and other major centres, is located on the north-east side of Ballarat's CBD and is an approximately six kilometre drive from Begonia City Motor Inn. A regular bus service also operates within Ballarat and reception can assist you with timetables and there is also a taxi serivce (131 008).
